Just a few quick updates for today…
I have lost a total of 4 pounds and 3/4 of an inch off my waist so far. Seems to be going along at a good pace.
The cramp in my left side eventually went away, yesterday, although I don’t remember exactly when.
I didn’t have any cravings for specific foods. I still get cravings to eat, but I think that is more my stomach telling me it is empty rather thanactual food cravings.
I forgot to mention this yesterday, but during day 1 of the fast my head, in addition to the headache, felt weird. It’s hard to describe the feeling, but the closest I can come is a fuzzy naziness kind of like you feel when you are just past buzzed, but not quite drunk. I’m not sure why it felt that way, another symptom of detox I suppose, but my head didn’t feel that way when I woke up yesterday so I’m not too worried.
I skipped the salt water mixture this morning for a few reasons. 1) I didn’t feel like I had anything in my bowels that needed to be flushed out. 2) The last time I fasted I drank saltwater everyday, which caused explosive bowel movements everyday, which eventually led to chafing. 3) I didn’t want to wake up early this morning to make sure I have my bowel movement before class. While at work I can take a break anytime I want, but I don’t really like walking out of class. Because of these reasons I am going to have the saltwater mixture on days I only work, or if I really feel like there is something inside me that needs help getting out.
