There isn’t a lot for me to report today. I lost another 2.2 pounds and another quarter inch off my waist. It appears the bulk of my weight loss occurs on the days I drink the salt water mixture in the morning to purge myself of toxins (surprise, surprise-having a bowel movement helps with weight loss when you aren’t intaking any food).
A lot of people are surprised to hear that not eating any food for numerous consequtive days doesn’t make you feel that bad. It is quite the contrary for me, actually; I feel pretty good. I did get a little tired and sore yesterday building a putt-putt hole for my work, but I’m not sure if that wouldn’t have happened even if I had been eating for the last week.
This fast still seems to be going a lot easier than the last one. My theory is that two factors play into this. One, I have done it before so I know what to expect and I know I can do it. Two, the first time I fasted I had twenty-four years’ worth of toxins in my body, but this time I don’t even have a year’s worth, so it isn’t nearly as hard on my body getting rid of them.
